Ingredients:

One pound of fresh strawberries, washed with stems

12 oz of White Chocolate Chips

1 bag of SATIVA Birthday Cake Sativa mini cookies

1 bag of DOUBLE CHOCOLATE Indica mini cookies

To Prepare:

Keep the washed strawberries in the fridge while you heat up the white chocolate. Keeping the strawberries cold will help for the melted chocolate to cool and harden. Have a large plate or several smaller plates ready to place the strawberries and cookies after dipping.

Heating up the white chocolate can be done easily by placing the chips in a heatproof glass or metal bowl and putting that bowl inside a pot with two inches of water inside. This can also be done with a double boiler, but if you don’t have one, this technique will work just fine. Heat the water slowly on low and the chocolate will start to soften in time. You can give the chocolate a stir when you see it start to melt and it will come to a full melt pretty easily. The trick to melting chocolate is to have patience and to use low heat to melt the chocolate slowly.

Once you have the chocolate melted, you can begin to dip your strawberries and cookies. Giving the chocolate a good stir between dips will help it to keep an even temperature. If it starts to harden up, you can just put it back in the pot with water and heat it back up.

Once you have dipped all of your strawberries and cookies, cover with tin foil and place in the fridge to cool the chocolate.
